ClosePath Everywhere — Privacy Policy

WHAT WE COLLECT

Account information. When you connect the extension to your ClosePath account, we receive your account identity and an authentication token. This is the same account information you already provide to ClosePath.

CRM data. The extension reads and writes records in your own ClosePath workspace — contacts, deals, tasks, appointments and notes — at your direction. This data already lives in your ClosePath account.

Page content. If you grant the extension access to a website, and you ask the assistant a question about the page you are viewing, the visible text of that page is sent to our servers to generate an answer. The extension does not read pages in the background, does not read pages on sites you have not approved, and does not read pages when the panel is closed.

Optional contact details. If you choose to provide a phone number, we use it only for the purpose stated at the time you provide it.

HOW WE USE IT

We use this information to operate the assistant: to answer your questions, to propose actions against your CRM records, and to carry out actions you approve.

THIRD-PARTY PROCESSING

To generate responses, we send your question and the relevant context — which may include CRM records and, where you have granted access, page content — to a third-party AI model provider. That provider processes the request and returns a response. We do not permit this data to be used to train third-party models.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for any purpose unrelated to operating this extension. We do not use data collected through this extension to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

RETENTION

Conversation history and action records are retained in your ClosePath workspace and are subject to your ClosePath account's retention settings. Page content is used to answer your request and is retained only as part of that conversation record.

YOUR CONTROL

You can revoke the extension's access to any site at any time from Chrome's extension settings. You can disconnect the extension from your ClosePath account at any time. Uninstalling the extension removes its local storage, including your authentication token.
